Don and Elizabeth Ann Kiel retired to the San Diego area in 1992. We are interested in genealogy since we we are both of Dutch ancestry. Our grandparents or great-grandparents came to the United States from the Netherlands in the mid 1850's. We now have our ancestry in both families back from 6 to 12 generations.
We like to travel and visit our daughters on the East Coast. We have traveled on our own in Europe, but in the last few years have taken four Rick Steves tours and four Grand Circle cruises.
We enjoy art, and have become especially fond of the painters of the Hague School. Don is also interested in the subject of fractals and the related areas of chaos and artificial life. He has taught some classes on different topics at the Village Presbyterian Church in Rancho Santa Fe, where he is also the webservant.
We love the San Diego area and welcome you to some of the webcams of the area.
