Arrival in Geneva

We arrived in Genea early in the morning and after going to the Tourist Bureau to buy City Passes we decided to go for two short boat cruises since it was a beautiful clear day. Below is one of the mansions we saw on the shore.

A telephoto shot of the French Alps, probably Mont Blanc
This one with the large green lawn had been occupied by Lord Byron.
The appearance of the Jet d'Eau differened according the speed of the wind.  The jet gets water as high as 140 meters (over 150 yards - a football field and a half.)
